Adding parsnips & sweet potato to my lentil soup recipe took it to a new level. Saute onions celery, & onion. Add 1lb lentils, 8 cups broth, diced carrots, potato, sweet potato, and parsnip. Simmer until mushy. Blend if you had teeth pulled.
