Finished the second Wool book last night. If you liked City of Ember, WALL-E or otherwise enjoy end-of-civilization-we're-stuck-in-a-decaying-lifeboat tales, you'll like these. Thanks @giff and lisl for the rec!

There weren't other dogs at the park today, but she ran around with her good friend, Stick http://instagr.am/p/GwjAs8K7jM/
Should've named her Mary Poppins b/c she's practically perfect in every way.

FRIDA!!!!
Today I learned how to handle a big dog entering the small dog park. All the little dogs make for the corners while the owners wait a wary but curiosity-filled minute before politely leaving as if that had been their plan all along.
I wrote a haiku for dst: daylight savings time. can't wait! can't wait! can't wait! can't! march 11th yay!!!
I like the Dickens Google doodle. Bonus points for the Dickensian style in which the mighty Google uses its doodle to link the poor information seeker back to Google's own book content.

Frida causes the rules of subway non-interaction to break down. Today, a stranger took her pic, showed it to me, and offered me his seat.
I don't have to curb my dog. She curbs herself. SO PROUD!!!
Something about Walter living at Downton Abbey and some concern about what would happen to his doggy daycare now that the war started
Can't fool me. Downton Abbey is Misselthwaite Manor. They better be taking care of the secret garden
The NYPL has a site dedicated to making animated gifs from the stereographs in their collection. Like http://stereo.nypl.org/view/6391.gif?n=1 http://stereo.nypl.org/
If I could go back in time, I would do this cheese cake for our wedding. http://pinterest.com/pin/158470480607827607/

Still a little difficult browsing kindle books, but definitely better.
I'm reading The Night Circus now (thanks @laurenleto). Midnight dinner parties sound like a fun idea, but could I get enough people on board? Could I stay up that late? Hmmm...
