All jots on dreams
Traveling in France, I could only come up with Spanish. The French condescendingly deigned to speak English. The food was good though.
I was working in a restaurant and was yelled at for being late when it was coming in on my free time to learn the menu, so I let her have it and told her we (the staff) weren't going to take her bitchyness anymore.
Long, detailed first person losing my laptop on the bus and searching for it. Utterly mundane and textured, it was such a relief to wake up.
Something about Walter living at Downton Abbey and some concern about what would happen to his doggy daycare now that the war started
I was locked in a room where a guy feeds cats. He said "I hope they enjoy monkey meat." Then I started running and hiding and got out of the house. Only to slowly start seeing cats everywhere, with red eyes.
I knew I was reading a book but I didn't ever see myself reading it. I was living through the characters and each chapter I would turn into somebody new - old, young, male, female, etc and live through their story.
A friend's wife left him and he came home to an empty apartment that was fully moved out. Then a Walter lookalike ran in. Then we were being chased through the woods (which led to Vegax) by 3 men who thought we owed them money.
My roommate was driving us down this bridge really fast and then slowed down to make a sharp turn. Once the turn was done we noticed the rest of the bridge was the width of a car. As we fell off it, my last thought was, "Thanks for killing us, Mark."
I liked my dreams from last night much besser. An old friend told me he is gay. I woke up with a big WTF floating over my head. It was so realistic that it took me some minutes until I was sure that he did not really say that.
Writing down my dream would be somewhat complicated. But it was a dream in a dream in a dream. And two of them where like an extreme horror movie (I don't like horror movies).
I saw babies dying in pain. Somebody take my mind off of this please.
Multiple zombies. 1) Some sort of last defense battle. 2) Long dream of preparation for fleeing ahead of the apocalypse but not telling many people.
Playing Arkham 3 for some tutorial level, then I was Batman, had to crawl down a 10 story building to get to Joker on the bottom floor, but by the time I got there, the villain was "Hepcat" and I had to sneak up hidden under the mulch on the ground.
Another movie dream. The three smartest criminals get broken out of jail by the three dumbest ordinary people. It actually sounds like a good movie that I would watch.
I was watching a zombie movie that showed the different fails and successes of a woman and her family (think the muti-timeline ep of Community). In the last one everyone turned into zombies, but one of the women actually also turned into a man.
Working IT support for a hedge fund, and they wanted to make a big buy move on Oracle (own 1/7 of available stock). I gave them a long, detailed analysis on what a stupid idea that was.
I couldn't bite down and I had a donut that I couldn't chew. Really frustrating. Woke up freaked out about my jaw, but it was working fine.
Adam Schiff was the judge in the Penn State case, and after hearing the murmured preconceived consensus of guilt gave a grand dramatic speech on the importance of due process to liberty in a free democracy. @ dovely would have been proud of old Adam.
Epic team-based archeological scavenger hunt. I think it was an ancient mystery, but it could have been an artificial construct. The scale and depth was amazing though.
Played high stakes freeze tag around a pool for charity.
I found my new dorm room, then spent hours trying to find it again, lost on the first floor. I woke up really disoriented. I think I was lost for a very long time.
In my dream (been caught by this too many times) my lover had a spike growing from his back, half hair, half bone, translucent, and I was working out how to remove it.
I didn't want to buy the cow because I was already milking it and getting my milk for free. Even while I was dreaming I thought it was weird.
What is it that makes us live out our darkest fears when we sleep? How do nightmares help us? Everything else about humans can be traced to evolutionary necessity but how can nightmares be useful? So far, I haven't come up with an answer but I have
Dreams of hip hop masters and police in riot gear. Perhaps I've an overattentive subconscious.
5yo took a preschool bus trip to Kansas City (but it was the 4-hour trip of my boyhood, not the 24-hour trip of his). Seemed pretty silly to go there and back in one day, but they were going for a baseball game, so it sounded pretty fun...
Last night, I dreamed that I dreamed about saying something funny and woke up to write it on here. If only I can remember what I said in that dream in my dream.
I dreamed there was one more cigarrette left in the package than I thought there would be. That's the kind of stuff my subconscious tells my in my sleep.
Was first in line to get Paula Abdul's autograph although thinking back on the music I kept humming it was Amy Grant's music. And then it became my 10 year reunion and I didn't recognize anyone.
I had a dream that I had gone to the hospital for some unknown surgery and when I woke up, I had scars all over half of my face b/c of complications, so I walked around most of the time with a piece of fabric over my head covering that half.
I kinda had a nightmare and when I woke up, I realized it was actually real and the dreamed summed up the last few days of my life. I was reliefed wheb I woke up, until I remembered. So this stuff can not only happen in movies. Hm.
