All jots on books

Hey @essjay (or anyone else) have you read Divergent by Veronica Roth. The first chapters are good.....
My third and final book in the Aquene Trilogy has just been published and is available now! I'm so happy ^_^ http://www.lulu.com/shop/robert-yannetta/redemp...
Finished the second Wool book last night. If you liked City of Ember, WALL-E or otherwise enjoy end-of-civilization-we're-stuck-in-a-decaying-lifeboat tales, you'll like these. Thanks @giff and lisl for the rec!
@becarella @julieako @teemcp

What are you guys reading now? I'm finding I hate everything on my read next shelf and need some suggestions.
I'm as miffed about these Watchmen prequels as the next fanboy but I would have forgiven them if they had just made more pirate comics.
Book 3 proofreading COMPLETE! The cover art arrives this weekend and I'm waiting for a possible full page ad.

Still a little difficult browsing kindle books, but definitely better.

In Q2 2012, the third and final installment in the “Drow and the Dragon” series will be published. How would you like to read the very first chapter of “Redemption and Vengeance” now? Head on over to PangurPad.com and take a peek for yourself.
I am *SO* enjoying The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson. It's been a while since I read a book slowly to avoid getting to the end. I like the weirdness, love the fluency of his writing. I am enjoying every aspect of the book. My copy smells of incense.

if you're in a relationship, thinking about getting married, or engaged...or heck, even if you're married, you should read the book Committed...which is the follow-up to Eat, Pray, Love. really makes you think about the institution of marriage.
Attention all readers! The FINAL installment in my "Drow and the Dragon" series of novels (book #3) is NOW COMPLETE! I'll be shipping it out for copyright registration tomorrow and preparing it for the publisher.
Finally made it to the top of the waiting list for the library's e-copy of A Game of Thrones! Very excited.
A few lighter things I read recently: "The Fortune Cookie Chronicles" (I think @sibley knows the author?), "The Psychopath Test", and Mindy Kaling's book. All recommended if you are interested their respective subjects.
Finished Reamde last night. It was like a cross b/w 'For the Win' and a Jack Reacher novel. Less virtual worldsy than I expected and more fun.

I realize there are tons of gender issues, but after finishing _Twilight_...it's tripe, right? To stay abreast of relevant trends, I'm on the _New Dawn_ waiting list at the library. Thankfully ebooks don't require me to check them out in person.
Bah humbug. All these Christmas romance ebooks at the library sound so cheesy. I'll muster through somehow. Titles like "Yule Be Mine" can't be left unread.

You'd think if you reviewed your own book you'd (a) be smarter, and (b) give a better review. Either a funny hoax or a surprisingly humble author for a hack who would write up video game novelizations. http://i.imgur.com/5q3iQ.jpg
Holiday spirit from the library. I'm so glad nypl is on bibliocommons now. http://nypl.bibliocommons.com/list/show/8752737...
The history of science fiction, in a hand drawn flowchart! http://sjot.it/t0xvig
From goodreads: "You have read 45 books toward your goal of 100 books (45%)...Goodreads members optimistically pledged to read 10 million books in 2011. So far we've finished 4 million with an average of 27 books per reader." Yay optimists!
Last three ebooks from the library: Vladimir Tod series, Sookie Stackhouse series, Twilight.
So I just completed/launched my first iPad app, an adaptation of a friend's children's book called Hagar The Harfowl. He could really use the recognition. check it out! http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hagar-the-harfow...
